The mission of the Cooperative Middle School is to provide a challenging, safe and healthy learning environment designed to meet the social, emotional and intellectual needs of all students.
The Cooperative Middle School is located in Stratham, New Hampshire and is administered by the Exeter Region Cooperative School District which serves the towns of Brentwood, Exeter, East Kingston, Kensington, Newfields, and Stratham. The student population is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students from these six towns.

New England League of Middle Schools has awarded CMS Eighth Grade Assistant Principal Melanie Faulkner with the A+ Administrator Award! NELMS seeks to honor administrators who value, understand, and support effective middle level education.

Late Bus Routes
3 late buses will run from CMS to various locations throughout our district. Buses will depart CMS between 4:10 and 4:15. Buses may occasionally run late depending on circumstances beyond First Student's control.
Students will be required to sign in when they board the bus.
Students must be supervised by staff while at school awaiting the late bus. Supervision could include arranged after school help with a teacher or athletics coaches. Students may not stay after school without a purpose.

End 68 Hours of Hunger is an organization open to all SAU 16 Schools to help end food insecurity for our students. This organization packs food weekly and will deliver to each elementary school, CMS & EHS. Contact the school nurse at your respective SAU 16 School to learn more.
